For today’s proxy website review, we will take a closer look at redherb.info, or when clicked it will get redirected to http://usaproxies.com/.
USAProxies are targeting College and Universities (not just for users but for the keywords as well). I noticed that the ads being displayed are all educational related. From where I am right now, I can see localized ads from a local university. Makes me wonder if the cost per click for those keywords are favorable. That’s another research for another day.
Redherb or USAProxy is powered by Glype, as a matter of fact they didn’t even bother editing the title of the page. Powered By Glype is still blatantly visible on the page.
Anyway, ad placement is good. One big leader board on top, a small text field for the proxy service itself and another 2 big blocks/square ads after that.
The text, which is used to drive the keywords (college, university, educational) are placed after the 2 big square Google adsense ads.
How was the site over all? It’s ok. Proxy is working and its fast enough when i tested it.
